How do non-mettalic airsoft revolvers function, if they dont have a rotating cylinder?

I assume you are asking about electric revolvers. Gas and spring ones almost always use shells like a magazine. With electric revolvers, they probably work the same way as any electric pistol.

They may even have a magazine at that you fill up with bbs and insert into the bottom of the gun.

Most electric pistols are not very well made and tend to break after a couple of uses and I assume that any electric revolver would be the same.
